1. What We Do and Do Not Do
ClinicToday is a technology platform that enables healthcare providers to manage patient engagement through their websites. ClinicToday does not provide healthcare services. ClinicToday does not collect, store, or process medical records or protected health information (PHI).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Name, phone number, and email address (when you submit a contact inquiry through a provider's chat assistant)
- Provider account registration information (name, email, practice details)
- Chat conversation content (messages you send and responses you receive through a provider's chat assistant)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- IP address and general location data
- Device information (browser type, operating system)
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, time and duration of visit)
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Medical records, health insurance information, or clinical records. Note: Chat messages you submit may contain health-related questions. These messages are processed to generate responses and shared with the relevant provider, but are not used to create medical records and are not treated as protected health information.

3. How We Use Your Information
ClinicToday uses the information described above only for the purpose of providing the Service and improving its services. We may also use your email address to send you messages about your experience with the Service or to provide information relevant to your use of the Service.
The Service uses artificial intelligence technology provided by third-party AI service providers to generate responses to chat messages. Chat messages are transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of generating responses. We do not permit these providers to use your messages for training their AI models.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may use and share aggregated or de-identified data to operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Service, and we do not re-identify it.
SMS / Text Messaging
Providers who turn on SMS alerts may receive operational text notifications from ClinicToday (for example, a text when a new patient submits an inquiry, or account and setup notices). No mobile information, text messaging opt-in data, or text messaging consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies — you may receive up to 10 texts per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
4. How We Share Your Information

Contact information you submit through a provider's chat assistant is shared with that provider only. The provider's further use of your information is subject to the provider's own privacy policy and applicable law. ClinicToday has no liability in connection with the use or misuse of your information by a provider.

We may share information with persons who help us provide the Service, such as companies that provide hosting, analytics, or email delivery. We do not permit these persons to use this information for any other purpose.

We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or to protect the rights and safety of others.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. External Sites
The Service may redirect you to websites operated by healthcare providers. Any information you provide after you are redirected to a provider's site is collected solely by the provider, not by ClinicToday. You should read the provider's posted privacy policy to understand what information they collect and how they use it.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and periodic security reviews. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
